Merry 26th of December - December 26, 2017

Hello! Merry Christmas!! This will be a short email since today is a short Pday and I got to talk to the #fam yesterday! We had a great Christmas and Christmas eve. Complete with 4 Christmas eve dinners, caroling, a Christmas day breakfast (tamales, of course), and a lesson with the familia Rodriguez :) Roberto is going to get baptized on Saturday!!! WOOOOO. He is super solid and knows everything is true. Soon to follow will be their daughters, and hopefully deya too. They are such an awesome family <<3333333
We went caroling with our district 4 nights in a row to hit all our investigators and less active families we wanted. It was so awesome, we went to one less active family we've been working with, and the husband isn't a member and never wants anything to do with the church or listen when we come over. But he was so excited when we came over and caroled, he was taking a video and smiling and kept thanking us for coming over! :') #lighttheworld
We had our ward Christmas program on Sunday and sadly, David archuleta did not show up. BUT the Lopez family did! The first week I was here and was still staying with the Jaggis, I went on splits with hermana bliss before we were companions. And we taught this family! And they are super awesome, Veronica (the mom) reads whatever we leave her in the book of Mormon and loves learning but said she would never come to our church or get baptized. But they have gotten so much help from people in the ward and have become friends with them they have opened up and actually came yesterday! And they loved it and want to come again. Wooooo!
Yep, that's it for today. We have p day until 1 to get all our shopping and stuff done. Then at 5 were having dinner with the Rodriguez fam and the Jaggis. Woop woop! It was a really awesome week!
Love
