Espero Que Lean Español - December 10, 2018

hola! no puedo creer que es mi ultimo p day aqui en puerto rico. que raro!!!!!!!!!!!!! estoy triste que mi tiempo en la mision esta terminando, realmente ha sido el mejor año y medio de mi vida y estoy super agradecida por todo lo que he experimentado y por lo que he pasado en la mision. antes de la mision, siempre pensaba que los ex misioneros mentian cuando decian que su mision fue "los mejores 2 años" o "los mejores 18 meses" de su vida jaja pero ahora se de que hablan. entonces si, estoy triste de terminar, pero no puedo agradecer a mi Padre Celestial bastante por todos los milagros que he visto en los ultimos 18 meses, en puerto rico y en layton utah. esta semana estaba pensando, y me di cuenta de que todas las cosas buenas que podian haber pasado en mi mision, pasaron. he sido super bendecida y no me lo merezco pero Dios es bueno :) he servido en los mejores areas, he tenido las mejoras companeras y tengo los mejores conversos y he servido con los mejores miembros!!!!!!!! #blessed. no se porque Dios ha sido tan bueno conmigo pero por eso, se que me ama y esta complacido conmigo. el ama a todos sus misioneros y los bendice tanto. he sentido mas felicidad en mi tiempo en la mision que he sentido en cualquier otra epoca de mi vida, y se que es porque dios ha estado bendiciendome con verdadero gozo al traer a sus hijos a el.

en la mision mi testimonio de Jesucristo ha crecido tanto y se que El vive y que el me ama y ama a ustedes tambien. se que la iglesia de jesucristo de los santos de los ultimos dias realmente es la iglesia de jesucristo y que es la unica iglesia con toda la verdad que enseño jesucristo y que el Libro de mormon es la palabra de dios y si lo leemos, nos acercaremos a Jesucristo y lo conoceremos mejor y sentiremos su amor mas en nuestras vidas. toda persona debe leerlo.

hi! this week was a good one. some highlights:

1. we balled up yesterday with some jovenes and i almost won in LOCO (the hispanic version of HORSE) #stillgotit #notbreakingthesabbathday #justinvitingotherstocomeuntoChrist

2. DAVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hes so cute. we had a few citas with him this week and hes reading the book of mormon and is in Jacob! and he said "desde que ellos pusieron sus manos sobre mi cabeza para darme el don del espiritu santo, todo lo que hago es llorar! se van a secar los ojos!" hahahahahah. he cried when he said the prayer in our cita. hes so cool. FAVORITE PERSON EVER

3. yesterday i got roasted in church by my other favorite person ever hermano perotti. he asked me "te gusta la pasta?" and i said "si!!!!" and he said "se nota" and just walked away. #burned. but its ok because hes like 80 and so cool

4. we have a member in our ward who has brought us donuts the last 2 sundays #blessed

5. it was my half birthday and NO ONE REMEMBERED

6. we had a zone activity today in arecibo in the cueva del indio and it was sooooooooooo pretty!!!!!!! and i defeated death like 4 times (literally, i thought i was gonna die as we were climbing around in the caves). but i did it. #takethat

7. we found some solid new investigators, including a couple named angel and yolanda and she asked us "les gusta puerto rico?" and i was like "claro!!!!! es el mejor pais!!!!! mucho mejor que los estados unidos, el clima, la comida, la gente" and she was so proud and said "que bueno que te encanta mi pais" its true its the best, thats why i put the title what i did because thats what elder christofferson said when he came!!!!!!!!! #bestmission

Baptism!! - November 26, 2018

OUR 87 YEAR OLD BFF DAVID GOT BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HES SOOOOOO CUTE LOOOK AT THESE PICS :''''''') and he was confirmed yesterday and recieved the aaronic priesthood. woop woop! hes so cool. we are so blessed to teach him. the service was super good, there was a lot of support from the ward. hes just SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (usually, we're not supposed to call boys cute on the mission, but hes older than my grandparents so its fine)

thanksgiving was great, we had two dinners (with the negrons and the toros). we had lots of turkey, arroz con gandules, and potato salad and postres!!! yum!

im so thankful for the mission and all the experiences ive had! its the best. im glad its not over yet.

this last week (besides the baptism) weve been working a lot on finding new investigators and on monday night, all of our plans fell thorugh so we werent really sure what to do, and we were in an area thats a little sketchy (lol) so we were going to leave and go somewhere else but we said a prayer to know where to go and i just got a feeling "stay where you are" and i was like uhhh ok...... thats not what i wouldve chosen but alright. so we contacted the street and met 4 people just walking around who all have lots of potential! it was a miracle. blessings of listening to the spirit. and of talking to everyone!
